Trainee Emergency Medical Technician Brad Stuckey has been presented with an award for receiving the highest number of appreciations from members of the public.
Brad received his award from the Chief Ambulance Officer Mark Mapp. He is the latest in a long list of staff to receive this award in recognition of the excellent care given to islanders every day.
Brad started working for St John in 2016 as an Ambulance Care Assistant with the patient transfer service, having previously been a volunteer with the charity. He then completed his training to become an Emergency Care Assistant and passed his blue light driving course in 2017.
Having studied for his EMT Level 3 and Level 4 course earlier this year, Brad is now continuing his EMT training with a period of on the road experience, supervision and continual professional development.
Brad has been described as a competent and well respected member of the emergency ambulance staff who is both determined and dedicated to his chosen career.
